THE IDEA
Warner Brothers came to MGM Resorts International to help promote The Friends Television Show’s 25th anniversary. Since many iconic parts of the show are filmed in Las Vegas, MGM Resorts was the key player to help make this idea come to life.
THE GOALS
1. Build hype and for Friends 25th Anniversary.
2. Increase Room Occupancy Levels for Main Resorts
3. Promote Our Mlife Rewards Program
4. Increase Engagement for activation with UGC
5. Produce FOMO for future events increasing Brand Awareness for MGM Resorts as a powerhouse entertainment company
WHAT WE DID
1. Produce a high quality video that recreated the Iconic Friends TV Intro with MGM Resorts International’s entertainers.
2. Hire cast members from the show to do fun activations with guests. (Ie. Gunther would serve guests coffee at a MGM Resorts coffee shop where hidden camera would record the reactions of the guests)
3. Teaser videos for each main activation on the strip (ie. Taxi Cab Escape Room, Gunter Serving Coffee, The Couch in front of the Bellagio Fountains and more)
4. Produce a special package with Hotel Ops that would place a specific guests in a room related to their favorite character (ie. The Joey, The Rachel and The Monica)
5. Create an Instant Experience that featured teasers as well as iconic clips from the show via Facebook/Instagram Instant Experience Paid Social
